Sunset Over Cala Waikiki (Tarragona, Catalonia)

There is something magical about a sunset on the beach. It has been two years since I took this photo; and with all the Covid-19 restrictions, 2020 has not been the best year to enjoy moments like that.

I really hope 2021 will be a better year for all of us—a year where everybody will be able to make the most of every day.

By the way, the photo is taken in Cala Fonda, near Tarragona. Many people know it as Cala Waikiki, maybe the nickname is because it remembers the beautiful Hawaiian coves?

I guess we are lucky. Both the Costa Daurada and the rest of Catalonia are full of beautiful beaches. And the best thing is that we can enjoy all of them after a short drive; no need for planes, and long travels!
